Artist Statement- Sanita Vue

Looking back at my photography there is a simple work of art. When pushing the shutter. My work is paying homage to my photographers Stephen Shore, WIlliam Eggleston, and Annie Leibovitz. Stephen Shore is an all American street photographer. William Eggleston a unique photographer that only takes his pictures once, with his creations he goes with it. Annie Leibovita teaching herself the true meaning of photography and growing from  experiences as she traveled around the world. The pictures I captured I used poetry from Louis Jenkins and Connie Wanek. Two very unique and inspiring people who write poetry. The sense of their poetry in my pictures draws attention in my typography photos.

I took alot of different photos and I tried to very it up a little. I would focus more on just one person at a time. I wanted to make the person stand out. When I look at my photography its about capturing the every day moments and making it so much more. Communicating in a different way that people can relate to in some way. Photography is a big capture in human beings lifes. Every time you see a photo, memories come back to life. Thats what photography is all about.   Being at the scene of the picture.

The delightful of the photography that you are able to see through your eyes. People see and hear, taste new things each day. There is not a day where you do the same things. Every day is different in some way.
The image that sits in front of you. There is a important significant to every photo.
